Working with a narrative of how light can distort and enhance our perception of certain objects and landscapes, Pearman produced these artworks for Stepping Hill NHS Hospital.
Looking up at the sun through a tree canopy, the shapes of the branches and leaves generates a silhouette that appears to become an abstract series of forms shifting in and out of focus.
An airplane flies between clouds reflecting light of its fuselage and becomes camouflaged in the clouds.
The above themes were incorporated into these glass pieces to provide a series that explored this narrative.
