During several public art commissions, Pearman was involved in a series of community workshops to gather opinions and ideas for various schemes.
These workshops have involved working with youth schemes, people with learning difficulties, elderly people and primary school children. The results from these sessions have had a direct contribution to the final design of the schemes.
